Morley Byekwaso, Uganda Cranes team coach, said, “As a team, we are fully prepared for tomorrow’s game. We understand the magnitude, the weight, and the meaning of this match. This journey has not been easy; thus, every one of our three games has taught us valuable lessons.”
He added, “We are here for a reason, and we are number one for a reason. Losing our first game taught us resilience. Winning the second and third showed our determination and growth. Tomorrow will be a very tough game, but we are ready.”

Karim Watambala, the Uganda Cranes team midfielder, said, “we know exactly what is at stake. As players, we have been well prepared by our coaches and we are fully focused on the game against South Africa.”
He added that playing at home carries great importance and comes with many demands, but they are ready to give everything on the pitch.
“Our goal is clear to make our fans proud and happy with a victory here at home. We are looking forward to tomorrow with confidence and determination,” he said.
